AmazonBasics B0050BPWBQ Repair

The AmazonBasics B0050BPWBQ is an 8-sheet Strip-Cut Paper, CD/DVD, and Credit-Card Shredder released in August of 2011. It provides users with 1/4" wide shred width. There is a black switch with On, Off, and Auto settings. It requires a 15 minute cool down time between shreds as opposed to competitors which require twice that. It has a bin capacity of 3.2 gallons and a noise level of 70 decibels.

It competes well against other similar devices such as the 6-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder and the 8-Sheet Micro-Cut Shredder.

The head unit and basket are black. The AmazonBasics logo is located in the top-left corner of the head unit. “Max 8 Sheets” is printed on the top of the head unit. The warning symbols are positioned in front of the “Max 8 Sheets” label, with the CD slot located in front of the symbols. The CD/Destroyer button and On/Off switch are positioned behind the “Max 8 Sheets” label.
