First released in October 2003, the Dell DJ offers a vintage music experience combined with the nostalgia of the original portable music scene. This device possesses the unique style and functionality one would expect from a first-generation mp3 device. It can be identified by model number 3DDFT51.

This device is known to have battery issues; we offer a guide to help fix this common problem. The Dell DJ was replaced by a smaller, less bulky model named the Dell Pocket DJ, then the Dell Ditty. All of the Dell mp3 players were discontinued in the year 2006.
