The Dell Venue 8 7840, also known as the Dell Venue 8 7000 series, is one of Dell's Android Tablets first released in January 2015. The tablet allows users to do a variety of things like take quality pictures, surf and use the internet, and play games. This model of the Dell Venue is distinguished by having a slightly larger screen, with its 8.4 inch display as compared to the 7 inch display of its predecessor, the Dell Venue 7. The Dell Venue 8 has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a pixel density of 360 ppi(parts per inch).

The Dell Venue 87 840 was replaced by the Dell Venue 10 7000 in April of 2015.

The Dell Venue devices discontinued on June 30, 2016. However, with the features of the Dell Venue 8 7840, the tablet is definitely still reliable.
