HP Elite x2 G1 1012 Repair

The HP Elite 1012 G1 was released in May 2016.

The HP Elite 1012 G1 is a light, versatile tablet that was put it to compete with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It is an ideal device for students because of its versatility. It can be used as a laptop, or as a tablet due to its detachable keyboard. Compared to the newer version G2, it isn't fan cooled, it has a lower resolution, and a smaller battery, with 40 Wh compared to the G2 which has 47. The G1 is more battery efficient however. The unit goes for around $600 now, but when it came out was around $1500. It is on the heavy side for a tablet, weighing in at 1.8 pound, but there are no stability issues when it comes to laptop mode.

The G1 was replaced by the G2 this year.
