Hoover Rogue 970 Repair

The Rogue 970 is the only smart vacuum that Hoover has released. It came out in 2017 and uses Robart Technology with memory navigation, automatic docking, connection to Wi-Fi, and SmartWall Technology to effectively map out and clean each room. The Rogue 970 also is connected to a mobile app that allows users to block off rooms, or sections of rooms that they do not want to vacuum. Additionally the vacuum has voice control through a Google home or Alexa device for hands-free use. The Hoover Rogue 970 has a run time of approximately 120 minutes.

There have been no factory recalls of this device; however, there are a few common problems. These include a faulty battery or difficulties charging, and the features of the mobile app often not working as described.

This product or its replacement parts are no longer sold by the company and has negative reviews from the time it was released. The app that coincides the vacuum is still available, but only on Apple products. It was originally sold for $499.99.

The Hoover Rogue 970 can be identified by its blue ring between the black and silver components, along with the Hoover logo and Rogue written on the top. There is also a silver pause button on the top of the device. You can find the device’s model number on a large sticker located on the bottom of the device that reads BH70970.
