Background
The PDP Rematch Advanced is a controller designed for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10/11 devices. PDP is a company that creates third party controllers for a variety of systems.
The controller is USB to USB type C and includes a 8 foot USB to USB type C cord. The controller has rumble support and has a mute button. The controller comes in a variety of colors and designs and is sold by a variety of retailers.
Due to a rise in competitive gaming, more controllers are being developed to feature back buttons. PDP has begun implementing this feature in their recent controllers.
PDP devices can be customized through their control hub desktop application. The application allow users to fine tune their controllers to the games they play. A customization that can be made is remapping the back buttons to one of the face buttons on the controller.
Identification
The controller has nine face buttons. This controller was released in July 2023. This controller can be distinguished from other models as it has back buttons and does not have programmable lighting. The model number is located on a black sticker on the back of the controller. The model number should read 049-023.
