Background and Identification
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W800 is a 20.1 megapixel camera, with a 5x optical zoom and 26mm wide-angle lens. Released in 2014, this compact, point-and-shoot device has the capability to take digital photos as well as HD 720p videos. Its only available color is black. Three Cyber-shot models were released in 2014, this being the first. Comparing these three models (the W800, W810, and W830), they are exactly the same except for the optical zoom and availability of color. To date, the DSC-W800 has not been recalled.
Identifying the camera model is as simple as looking above the LCD screen where it states "SteadyShot DSC-W800".
