Press down on the back cover of the phone and remove it.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four 4.2 mm screws from the four corners of the battery slot.

Use a plastic opening tool to peel off the Verizon logo tab from the top of the back cover.

Remove the three 4.3 mm screws that are now exposed using a Phillips screwdriver.

Use the plastic opening tool to remove the back outside casing.

Gently pull up the yellow tab to prepare for disconnecting components.

Disconnect the rectangular ribbon cable by carefully pulling it out of its connector.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
