Will any CD work?

Most store bought CDs are audio CDs which should work with this device. However, if you are unsure, check the CD closely for the format classification. The compatible formats include “CD,” “CD-R” and “CD-RW.” Alternatively, you can put the CD in a computer and it will identify disk for you. If all else fails, put the disc into the CD-player on the boombox, discs that are not compatible will not damage the boombox. See the Insignia NS-B4111 Troubleshooting page for more information.
