The printhead is part of the cartridge on these. You have to take the carts out of the printer and soak them in hot water. If it still has issues, that cartridge gets replaced.

Not sure how you can say the printer head is part of the cartridge! the manual shows how to replace the printer head and nothing about it being part of the cartridge!
