My hinge is broken, can I replace it?
My hinge is broken at my asus and i wont find any repair guide or spareparts.
Any suggestions wher i can find it?

If you have an Asus TP500LA search online for 13NB05R1M09011 and/or 13NB05R1M08011 (Asus part numbers for the left hinge and right hinge respectively), to find suppliers that suit you best.

the good thig is that the wires are not captive in the hinge.
The bad thing is that finding a hinge may be an impossible task and I don't get the impression that what I see can be repaired - but I don't know what is broken.

Yeah, maybe try buy a second hand laptop and use it to take out some spare parts from it.
If you look at the picture you se that the gears are broken.
OH, that middle gear is suppose to be the same size as the 2 outer ones, right?
