Pop up flash problems

I have two Canon SX 700 HS cameras. Each with a different flash problem.

On the first, the flash works, but the internal catch to hold it down is either broken or disconnected so it won't stay down.

On the second, the flash physically works in place, but the settings and flash don't function or flash.

I'd like to fix both, but if need be, use one to fix the other. Is there anywhere I can find schematic drawings of this camera so I can get into it without blind luck?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
