Most appliances are worth fixing as long as basically they're still OK and if you can still get any replacement parts that may be required.
Dripping oil doesn't sound right as the gearbox should be lightly covered in grease for lubrication and not oil. Also the seal may need replacing
Here's the service manual for the mixer.
It details how to completely disassemble the mixer and how to re grease and reseal the gear box (see p.7)
Worth a look at least to see what's wrong
