No network after replacing usb port

Hi,

my USB port stopped working so I changed the whole board where the usb-port is located. After the replacement I had no network after booting (no calls and no mobile data).

So I looked up this problem and realized that there are two different versions of this "USB-board" (K1 and K2). I had bout K1. Unfortunately I had threw away my original part directly after the replacement.

So I bought the version K2 and replaced it. But still no network.

Does anybody have an idea if there are more different versions of this board?

What is the full model number of the phone e.g. SM-A525?? SM-526?? etc?

There are several Galaxy A52 5G variants and they all don't share the same USB charge port board

The full name is SM-A528B/DS

When I had search for the replacement parts I tried to ensure that the parts are indeed fitting to this model.

However, when I got the parts, they where packed in a small bag labeled by "A52s". So maybe they are not the perfect replacement parts...

Here's some info that may or may not be useful.

If the image posted by this supplier of a board for an SM-A528B/DS is correct then it doesn't show either K1 or K2 on it as seen on other boards (example only) but I think that one way to distinguish the difference can be seen by the code in the top right corner of the board i.e. A52-072 for SM-528B/DS vs A52s-03 for SM-A528 USA which is shown on both K1 and K2 versions.

Maybe you need to look for a board with A52-072 given that neither the K1 or the K2 versions worked.

The troubleshooting guide for the A528B series doesn't differentiate between different USB charge port boards but the flowcharts do mention to check the antennas, a lot of which are located on the USB board (see p.32→p.44)

thank your for your detailed answer. I did an advanced search for the USB-Board this days and found out that there's a A52-08 version, too.

Do you think looking at date printed on the board could help? I bought my phone in summer 2022. But all boards A52-072 have a 2020 date printed. The A52-08 board I found has a 2022 print.

Logically the board with the latest number would be the one to try.

If that didn't work then I don't know.
