Why is the LED light blinking while charging
The Chromebook is blinking on the LED light as it charges and continues to do so and when I unplug it it turns off as it's not charging at all

Your Chromebook issue points to a charging or battery fault. First, try a hard reset by holding Refresh + Power for 10 seconds while plugged in. If it still shuts off when unplugged, the battery may be dead or disconnected. Check the battery connection inside (if accessible). If reseating doesn’t help, you likely need a battery replacement. If under warranty, contact support; otherwise, take it to a repair center.

Most likely the battery has failed and needs to be replaced.
