The AmazonBasics 6-sheet shredder was first released at Amazon.com in 2015. It has a waste basket that can hold up to 1 gallon. The top of the device is the removable shredder assembly. The blades can cut credit cards and paper. It also has an LED indicator that tells you when it overheats. It can clear paper jams by doing auto start and manual reverse.

The shredder waste basket is made of glossy black plastic and features a small clear window on the front, allowing you to view the shredded paper level. A silver switch for On, Off, and Reverse is located on the top of the device, along with a silver paper entry cover.
