@ladydi4357 ,Diane, Before you go removing the or changing the filter if applicable, Remove the gas cap and see if it runs(do not run too long because of splashing fuel). If mower seems to run good with out cap, this means the vent hole in cap is plugged not allowing/restricting fuel to flow. Replace cap or try to clean vent holes. Other things to try install new spark plug, check for pinched fuel line, remove fuel line to see if you have fuel flow from tank, if equipped with fuel pump remove fuel line from outlet on pump turn/crank mower over to see if pump is pumping fuel, remove carburetor and clean thoroughly/rebuild set float level.
