@noah7778 , Valerie , Did you by chance have a storm prior to TV acting up. Clicking on then off itself, may indicate that there is a short inside the TV preventing it from fully powering on. Probable that there is a failure on the power supply board. Capacitors on the board may have surged and blown.
You may be able to visually inspect, remove back from TV, inspect capacitors for bulges or leaking fluid. This is a common failure from forums I have read.
The capacitors are located on the power board inside the TV where the AC cord plugs into and can be replaced by unsoldering and soldering in new if you have some soldering experience and small tip soldring iron. Check the video links to see how to check capacitors and remove and replace. If not wanting to try th repair yourself, have a good local TV repair shop have a look, diagnose and estimate repair.
