Sometimes you install new drivers and a peripherical doesn't work.You go to system device and you see there is everything ok. Once it happened to me with an wireless card.Drivers installed normally but the card wasn't working(even the system kept saying drivers work normally..). I had to download manually the specific driver from the producer and the problem disappeared. Try to do the same thing with your audio card.Look for specific driver. Hope this will help!
