What is the full model number of the washing machine?

You may have a faulty water inlet solenoid valve in the washing machine, not closing properly.

Try turning off the hot water tap which supplies the machine and check if the dripping stops. If it doesn’t then try turning off the cold water tap which supplies the machine to determine which solenoid valve may be the problem.
