Onces dropped I would think you have an damaged screen.

You have two parts to the screen The digitizer (the outer) and the LCD (the inne) Usualy the digitizer part goes and the LCD would be OK To know if your LCD is OK see if you can see a display on it . You may have to chage it if the battery is dead
