Hi there try this, Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. Do not release the buttons when you see the '''Apple''' logo because you will need to enter recovery mode first. You will then be prompted with the option to Restore or Update. When holding the buttons down it should take around the 20 second mark.
