Also check that you can hear the fans operating in the laptop and feel the warm (hot?) air coming out of the vents.
If you can’t hear the fans or feel the air then there is a problem with the fans. There are two fans in the laptop.
As you have a very new laptop, (I assume that it is less than 12 months old?) contact the Lenovo service section as per the manufacturer’s warranty statement that should have come with the laptop as to what to do to get it repaired under warranty. That’s what warranties are for
If it is still under warranty, do not open the laptop yourself to investigate the problem, as this will void the warranty.
