After following the screen replacement guide here: [guide|142158], the display is flipped, dim, and has a vertical bar of static on the right side.

I have tried reseating the ribbon cable several times, with the same result each time. Before removing the old screen, it displayed correctly. I’m not sure what else to try to fix this problem. Any help would be much appreciated.
