Hi,
-Get the OBDII port scanned to check if any codes are shown.
+Get the vehicle's OBDII port scanned with a scantool, to check if any codes are shown.
It may be a problem with the throttle position sensor (TPS) and if so it will show up as a fault code.
Some major retail auto parts stores in the USA will do this for free apparently
