camera mode jumping arround when lightly touching the mode dial

The camera mode is jumping arround between MR and Movie Record mode with just light touch of the mode dial any way to fix this on my rx100 m4, it's old, but still takes great pictures just that whenever I use my memory recall mode, for some reason it jumps between movie record and mr, or if i select movie record jumps between MR and HFR. I saw that possibly needs to clean the contacts under the dial but no guide for it.
