If your black ink isn't printing, try replacing the printer cartridge, if you haven't already. The Epson Workforce 645 uses a Epson T126120 black ink cartridge.
If you already did this, try removing the cartridge and reinserting it firmly. Make sure to remove the protective tape rom the ink nozzles, as well.
