In this guide, we will show you how to remove and replace the Hard drive.

  1. Dell Alienware M17x R4 Hard Drive Replacement, Loosen the Screws: шаг 1, изображение 1 из 1

    • WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer and follow the steps in Before You Begin.

    • WARNING: If you remove the hard drive from the computer when the drive is hot, do not touch the metal housing of the hard drive.

    • Loosen the captive screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.

    • Using the pull-tab, lift the hard-drive assembly to disconnect it from the connector on the system board.

    • Lift the hard-drive assembly out of the computer base.
