Press down with your fingers while also applying a sliding motion on the latch buttons near the battery on the underside of your laptop.

On the back of the laptop, remove the 6mm Phillips #1 screw. This screw is attached to the keyboard.

Use the plastic opening tool to slide the clips back, releasing the keyboard.

As you release the clips, use the plastic opening tool to lift keyboard above the clips.

Once the keyboard is released from the clips you should be able to lift it up, exposing the wire connecting it to the laptop.

The keyboard will slide out of the clips on the top.

Using your fingers, slowly pull the wire out of its connection.

The keyboard is now disconnected.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
