In the past, when I was looking for cheaper repair parts, I found it best to really study the customer reviews and ratings. iFixit has arguably the best quality parts. However, if you are looking to save some money- studying the reviews on places like amazon and ebay can ensure that you don't lose a significant amount of quality/functionality in attempts to save funds. I did that for a range of devices and then when I found a cheap yet quality part on something like amazon, I would save that product's info and use it as my "go-to" for it's corresponding device. I.e. A cheap but functional iPhone 6 screen assembly on amazon became the part I ordered for all my broken iPhone 6 screen repairs once I used that product a few times and verified that it works as it should when installed. Hope this info helps!
