Buy a new HD. But in the meantime, try using Single User Mode to have the computer check and repair disk corruption. To get into Single User, at the boot sound, hold "cmd" and "s" down until the screen goes black. When you get to the prompt and white text has stopped scrolling by, type this (without the quotes): "/sbin/fsck -fy" This will run a check disk very similar to Disk Utility but will be more thorough. That may allow you to use the computer enough for you to get your data off of the HD. At this point, getting your information off the HD should be your first goal. Sounds like your harddrive has one foot in the grave. Tonka
There are 2 9mm screws on either side of the memory modules. Have you checked to see that you removed both of them? This looks like the most likely thing to have overlooked. This is shown in step 3 of your guide. There are 4 screws on the back edge, which are removed at different steps of the guide. Have you removed all four of them ? The only other thing that stands out is, the DC in connector itself, which should still be connected to the LB at step 27, the wires of this connector may be trapped under something, restricting the removal of the Logic Board Tonka
It might be easiest to go to a lawnmower repair shop and tell them what model of mower you have and what bolt you lost. They should be able to hand you a new one for a few dollars. If there is just one bolt as is often the case, it is likely a left-hand thread, and not what you are likely to find in the hardware section of Walmart. Tonka P.S. You didn't by chance screw the bolt into where it came from to prevent losing it, did you? ;)
If the problem was your thermostat, you would still have some heat. So, likely, that is not the issue. If you have just had your radiator flushed, then perhaps it was not refilled properly. Some vehicles, especially newer ones, have a 'procedure' to refill the cooling system. Some shops will wave that off and just return your vehicle. Your owners manual will have information on this. (Hmm, my idea of 'newer' is getting older. Sigh. :) Another possibility is that like most cars, the controls you adjust are vacuum operated, and there is a break in a vacuum line. Without knowing more details, it is hard to narrow it down. Details like: Have you had it serviced recently, and what was done? Does the van have any other problems that started at the same time? Except for not having warm air, does the ventilation system function as expected? .... Tonka
