A banana's ambition in life is to propagate the banana species. This ambition can be frustrated by steps 1 through 6 but even after removing the peel, the banana may still reach it's intentional goal. However, step 7 will structurally and chemically devastate the banana. In other words: step 7 is extremely hurtful to the innocent fruit!
