that is simply a misfire that is occurring, there are many things that it could be...starting off with air filter..check if it is excessively dirty, spark plugs (pull out each individual plug inspect it for carbon build up) if you car has a distributor cap take that off inspect the connectors in there for carbon both inside and outside portions of the cap, also look at the rotor if thats is worn out, next inspect the pvc valve that can also cause inconsistent idle when clogged....if that doesn't work replace the fuel filter, o2 sensor...and spark plug wires.....(usually if you o2 sensor was the issue you would have a check engine light...so leave that till last...) also you should check your cars idle rpm when in park or neutral, it should be between 500-650....if that is off then it can also cause lag during acceleration btw you should also try spraying carburator cleaner in the chamber with the car running...but be careful it may stall and turn off so just give it some gas at the same time by flipping...

you can also try resetting it by taking out your battery disconnecting the power adapter from the laptop then pressing and holding the power button, after that just place you battery back in and hopefully it should start up...

hey i just added a backlight sheet to my macbook aluminum 2.0Ghz it is done very easily. i purchased it off of ebay for $25.00, the item number is (220714814758) it should still be there.... the process is very simple, as long as you can follow instructions and apply. just to be clear you DO NOT have to replace the whole upper case....or even the keyboard for that matter....unless you want the logo on the f5 and f6 keys, like the MBP.....the original keyboard from the macbook 2.0 will work just fine...by default the macbook will recognize the f5 key to dim the backlight and f6 to make it brighter as soon as you install the backlight sheet. the connector for the backlight is the small black one to the left of the ram, you can not miss it.... there should be no ribbon cable attached to it....since you don't have the backlight... that connector should be there in all of the MacBooks 2.0 unibody if it isn't for whatever reasons then your simply out of luck... follow the guide via the link: MacBook Unibody...
