i Just had a psp go that the battery was defective - its symptoms are similar to what you describe - i would consider buying a new battery just to eliminate that as a possibility (cost around 6 quid)
Читать далееBlown Fuse maybe? http://www.mr-vizitkin.ru/images/stories/psp_fuse.jpg ^^ Fuses for PSP GO. The one on the right is for Audio - so the one *under* the metal shielding may well be your power Fuse. I would suggest testing with a multimeter to confirm. If you are going to bridge it then a Circuit Writer pen is the easiest - just practice on something other than the psp so you get used to the flow.

Things i noticed were that the fan never increased in tempo - just sat being quiet and it used to change speed quite a lot when playing blu ray movies. Is it possible that the fan is not doing its job? Could be an overheating issue. As it is a 40GB Model there is a fan test built in : Power off at rear switch - press and hold eject - then power on switch. See if the fan test completes successfully. If it does then focus on the blu ray drive - and if you are planning on using a new laser it may not fit on the rails but an entire drive is inter changeable (swap the blue ray boards though)
Читать далееwell, It could be the Power fuse going if the fuses are similar setup to the DS - On a DS if F1 is blown it will work from battery but not AC. Anyway here is a fuse guie you may want to have a quick look at: http://www.llamma.com/PSP/repair/PSP_fus...

I have ordered some DS F1/F2 power fuses to see if they are compatable but i dont believe they are rated the same.
Читать далееHi, First things first ;- Clean out the headphone port with a cotten bud. Make sure the device is free from lint etc. Test headphone is working. Leave headphone plugged and attach to power supply via dock. Check headphone. If the headphone kicks in from either of these 2 tests it will be a blown fuse. I am trying to source a replacement fuse but i cannot seem to find a suitable fuse so i have "bridged it" with some kynar wire. Source: Loss of audio Output From Units speakers.. Hope this helps you out. In my experiance with all variations of the PSP it is rarely the softwares fault. The software may error but it will error due to a hardware issue.
