INTRODUCTION
Hello my name is Rene Bonilla and I am a Computer Engineer at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.
EDUCATION
Working on my Bachelors of Science in Computer engineering at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI. Taking a variety of classes ranging from electronics to hardware to firmware and programming. This field is in high demand due to the skills and knowledge one receives in both hardware and software.
ASPIRATIONS
Once i am finished with receiving my degree i want to work in either Software engineering/development or Embedded Systems Development for a company working through resolving issues and taking challenges that no other company would take. Tough challenges is what thrives my urge to expand my knowledge and find solutions for problems that seem difficult or hard to solve.
SKILLS
Very proficient in programming languages such as C++, C, JAVA, and Assembly. Wide range knowledge and use of microcontroller ranging from STM32, ESP32, and Texas Instruments. Electronic skills include oscilloscopes, function generators, circuit analysis, and multimeter use.
Another project i had worked on was designing an online shop with account creation and guest accounts for buying items within the shop. Designed a Password authenticator to help create stronger passwords for accounts. Items are tracked by the program. Tells users when items are out of stock and will notify admin via messages when items are needing restocking. Current Item Stock will be saved in data files when program ends.
REPAIR EXPERIENCE
I have repaired a multitude of hardware and devices in my lifetime. Ranging from computer hardware to oven stoves. By doing these types of repairs all repairs have a similar process in that you work on the issue that is being caused and replace that issue with a new piece or part. If the piece can be fixed by replacing something within the piece it can make the repair less costly.
PROJECTS
I have worked on multiple projects throughout my years as a computer engineering major. One of the major projects i worked on was developing an Augmented Reality headset using microcontroller and software development that created a semi working headset that turned on and was able to receive images.
