Sounds like your issue is that one of the hinges worked itself loose and is now pushing against the bottom of the case when you move the lid. To fix this, open up the back cover, and make sure the hex screws are still where they should be.
1. This guide here also mostly applies to the UX32LN.
2. The thing that will give first is the headphone/mic jack, which I cannot find a spare part for. This is soon followed by the hinge, which has screw sockets held in place by a few brittle pieces of plastic, which naturally break off very easily, leaving you with a wobbly hinge. See that metal bracket with the two black screws in it and the hex socket screw a bit further on? Expect to only have the hex screw hold that thing on in the future, unless you have the stuff to do plastics repair work.
3. The case cover's Torx screw heads tend to wear out quite quickly, be careful when opening devices of this family up.
4. To clean out the keyboard, you have to pop the keycaps off. You cannot access where the dust, hair and skin flakes gather otherwise, as it's one sealed unit.
