Acer Aspire 5253 Has Volume Control Problems

Are you unable to hear any sound coming from your Acer Aspire laptop? Can you not control the computer’s volume? Acer Aspire laptops are susceptible to a range of problems that can cause them to stop making sounds. Check the following causes to identify and solve the problem.

If your computer’s volume is muted, you will not hear any sound coming from its speakers. If you are hearing no noise from your speakers, the headphone socket may be faulty and the audio output is being directed permanently to the socket. Navigate to your computer’s Control Panel, select “Sound,” then click on “Playback.” Check that your headphones are shown as an option when they are plugged in and that the option disappears when they are not plugged in. If the headphone option does not disappear when it is not plugged in, your computer may have a faulty headphone socket.
