This netbook uses Win7 Starter (32-bit only), so you will need to modify a 32-bit Windows ISO by removing ei.cfg and seeing if you can install Starter, or find a OEM recovery DVD set to recover it back to factory condition. [https://ibanniebtechsupport.wordpress.com/2011/01/15/windows-7-isos-and-ei-cfg-removal-utility/|Refer to this link] to grab the files required, but the OS file will need to be sourced elsewhere if the link is hosting the old Digital River files - which were removed when Microsoft dropped them and do their own hosting, hiding them behind a product key prompt.
If you have a XP version of this netbook, then you will need a standard XP install CD or can install Linux. This is much easier to find a copy of online. Howrver, if you use Linux you need a lightweight distro since the netbooks were never powerful enough to handle a heavier distros. Write this to a USB drive if at all possible, but you can use a DVD and an external drive if you want - any good DVD drive will work.

-This netbook should have a recovery partition. To use it press ESC at startup and select System Recovery. If it's still there and works then it should work.
-If that doesn't do it, then it sounds like the recovery partition is damaged or it's going to be the hard drive. Try reloading the OS from the recovery media and see if it holds. If it does, it's the recovery partition. If it gives you any problems then the drive is dead.
-This netbook uses Win7 Starter. Get a Windows 7 32-bit ISO from a place that grabbed the Digital River ISO and download it. Once you do that run it through a tool that does a ei.cfg removal. I have found it for you. You can get it [https://ibanniebtechsupport.wordpress.com/2011/01/15/windows-7-isos-and-ei-cfg-removal-utility/|here].
-I have a ISO I did this to but this is easy. Mine came from Digital River.
-The ISO needs to be 32-bit to work. This will not work on a 64-bit ISO as Starter doesn't come in 64-bit.
-If you have a XP version of this netbook, then get Windows 7 Home Premium or install Linux on it. Use Xubuntu on this. Ubuntu is too heavy for netbooks.
