I have this alien ware here and when you press the power button, the keyboard lights up and everything but nothing shows up on the screen, and then it just beeps 3 times repeatedly until you force shut it off. I'm not sure what to do from this point.

@sirfixalot 3 beeps on Alienware computers is caused by a System Board Chipset Failure. Double check to make sure that it is not your RAM module. I'd also try to remove the memory module, the battery and unplug your AC adapter. Then hold down the power button. After that replace memory module (1) at a time and plug the AC adapter in. See if that makes a difference. Otherwise you may be looking at a processor or motherboard failure.

My Alienware has two sticks of DDR 4G 1Rx8 PC3L-12800S-11-12-B4. The memory came from a working laptop, but it still beeps 3 times.
