Would this still work if I replaced?
I believe some pins are missing from the connector, anything I can do? Replacing the screen replacement wouldn’t do anything right?

Yes unfortunately that looks like some irreparable damage to the connector socket on the logic board, which is much harder to fix yourself than a screen replacement.
