For the g7 thinq Once I have opened the rear glass and replaced the removed the battery should I glue the new battery in? If yes what type of adhesive is recommended? Same question but for the rear glass.

For battery, there is a special double sided tape you can buy. just Google it.
If you can't / won't get it, 3M paper double tape can work, but with disavantages. too much it's is pain to remove, too little can peel off when you drop your phone.
back panel use b7000 glue, or better.
