Why does a laptop switch on and off?
My Lenovo laptop when I switch it on it turns on then shows the logo an load for a several minutes then it start to turn on then off randomly.

Well try the following :
- Inspect the battery. Turn off your laptop completely and shut down the flap.
- Check for overheating.
- Check the RAM and hard drive.
- Check the power supply outlet and charger.
- Perform a hard reset.
- Run a malware scan.
- Update the drivers.
- Reset the BIOS settings.

We need more details such as what operating system are you using and does anything appear on the screen at all before it shuts down?

What OS is installed, Win7, Win 10, Linux etc?
Can you get into BIOS on startup OK?
