The hinge is broken how do I fix it?

ive pretty much managed to fix it but its not so easy and doesnt produce perfect results unless you can get your hands on a new hinge assembly ( then you need to resolder the cable but id say its a better idea)

bassicaly

1 open the back side of the earcup

2 remove the hinges ( just pull/push and the should come out )

3 remove the shiny plastic on the headband ( i cut dont the middle to make it easier , not sure if its possible otherwise as my still cracked)

4 push out the metal rod
5 pull out the metal rod with

6 remove the swinging part of the hinge

7 cut it in the middle

8 try to heat connect the broken hinge parts

9 rejoin the swinging part with the turning part inside

10 put the metal rod back

11 shiny black plastic back on

12 rejoin the bigger hinge ( cups to headband

13 close the cup

done yippie

dont mind the guide being mid as im just frustrated i cant really fix it nicely without the hinge ( that jbl doesnt sell ) and its 23;20 :3
