I know a few people this has happened too. There is a function key on the keyboard, I have an ASUS but my F9 key will turn off the mouse (fn + F9). Try pressing the function key and the Function key on the top of your keyboard that has a symbol of a mouse crossed out.

If it is less than or close to a year you may want to consider taking the phone to an Apple Store. It would probably cost less and save time, if the phone is damaged it would give you more options. I only say this because I had a phone die and was due to the circuit board, apple swapped it out for me. If you are determined to figure this out, try plugging the phone into a computer to see if the computer recognizes the device. It could be possible the digitizer died. If not, open the phone and check for loose cables, could be possible a cable came loose and crossed a wire. The battery could of also have been shorted out.

you should be able to bend it back as long as it does not affect the circuit board and as long as all clips for the screen and screw hold line up there should not be a problem. How badly is the phone bent?

Hello Pail Sam, I think I responded on another of your post with this same problem. If you have a boot disk on a USB it should read it but you will have to change the boot options in the BIOS to read from the USB first.

I am not sure what you are asking. is this an external monitor? Is this with a video card?

They should, I don't think the finger pad security software or hardware was available for the 5c rather the 5s.

Hello ianharkins1 , I would suggest to buy a new battery from apple or a repeatable source.If it was the chip I would suspect you would have larger problems than a battery issue. I know from experience with my iPhone 5 how repairing my shattered screen with a new one drained my battery much quicker, whereas the person who has it now the battery last all day. My point, the batteries you received may be "refurbished" which usually mean their best days are behind them. Upgrade to a new fresh battery and you should be in good shape. There is a jumper that resets your bios. I am not sure where theey are located on your board.

Fixing the DC port on any laptop requires a total tear down but, you could take it to your local computer store for servicing. Do you have any friends with the laptop or battery used in your machine? Maybe visiting a local electronic store or battery shop to charge your battery outside of your laptop. You may want to invest in a drive enclosure, this way you can take out your harddrive and access your files from another computer via USB.

Hello d1k4, if you replaced the screen you may want to double check all the connections on the circuit board. It could be possible your cables connecting to your circuit board may not be secure.
