Phone would turn on and work fine prior to trying the battery replacement, it obviously just wasn’t keeping a charge like it should. After completing the replacement process, the phone won’t turn on at all, or at least the display doesn’t. I dissembled (minus the adhesion of the new battery) and reassembled, following all the steps, and to my knowledge not doing anything incorrectly. No obvious damage or unplugged wires. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any troubleshooting or common problems? I guess I’m looking for specific places to look, more than just walking through the whole thing again. Or, anyone else believe they might have just received “a dud” battery? I wonder how I can tell if the battery I bought from ifixit is ok or not?
