Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Jalen Bowen, and I am a undergraduate student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, studying mechanical engineering with a focus in high powered vehicles. Outside of school, I enjoy staying active and in shape with hiking, sports, and working out. I have not done a project with iFixit in the past, but I do have experience with the disassembly, assembly, and repairing of a device. I have repaired different iPhone models, such as 4, 5s, 6, and 6s. I have removed and replaced various iPhone parts such as the screen, battery, home button, and wifi and GPS components. I enjoy repairing devices and helping others with their device issues. My experience with repairing iPhones helps me with creating guides for a device on iFixit. I am currently working on guides for the Dell Inspiron 15R laptop in order to help those with the laptop.
