What about removing the UMD trigger? I didn’t see it anywhere in this tutorial. Please help.

UMD no longer engages. Unit on. Door open. I remove disk. I put a piece of scotch tape on the black tab to fool the unit into ‘disk in’ position. I gently pull on the door/disk frame and the red light on the umd and the red light /spinner engage. Amazing. I have looked painstakingly all over with a led light and my bi-focals; I am stumped at this point. I can only hope it is the umd trigger.

The umd is still operative. It’s just not coming on as its suppose too. Someone reading this; Please Please comment. Thanks in advance. (conrad415@gmail.com)
