Why does the bass sound terrible

So I got this JBL charger 3 speaker and it was working fine then it started sounded terrible. Now any time a song with base comes on the sound sounds terrible.

You probably played too much bass. One of my car's speakers make this flapping noise whenever bass comes on. And it only happened when I started trapping too hard on the highway
