So I am not a complete amateur, but am very close. I need to repace the back on my LG V30 and was wondering if I should be able to do it? The only part I'm concerned about it removing and putting back the camera lense and home button.

Here’s a link to the ifixit LG V30 Back Cover Replacement guide, which may help you to decide whether you can do it or not. The repair difficulty rating is shown as “moderate”.
