Humming Noise from Inverter Board

My iMac make this annoying humming noise, coming from the Inverter Board.

Following this Repair-Guide:

iMac Intel 24" EMC 2111 Inverter Board Replacement

its possible to change the complete Inverter-Board.

My questions are:

Which Part of the Inverter-Board is generating this noise?

Is it possible to replace just this specific part (soldering)?

If not, where can i get a separate replacing Inverter-Board?

What are the last 3 characters of your serial number so can verify the machine and better help you? Is the screen flickering and humming or is the backlight constant and humming?

No screen flickering at all. Just this annoying humming noise.

I am having a hard time finding an inverter without the LCD.

More than likely the issue is form one of the transformers on the inverter board. they are most definitely replaceable however I would need to see the board to tell if a replacement transformer can be found.

I am also having no luck whatsoever finding a replacement inverter.

It looks like this board is sold integrated with the LCD. Extensive searching showed me no results for it being sold separately.

Like mayer I've searched high and low for an inverter to be sold individually. I recommend you buy a cracked screen or a functioning entire unit off of eBay with a cracked screen to acquire the inverter. If you buy the entire unit you can sell the remaining parts to offset your cost. The LCDs for this I've seen are running between $500 - $800 USD. Here is the guide for replacing the inverter unit.

My apologies to all you Mac experts, I do not mean to butt in. I just follow this question since I just recently "inherited one of these. I do not even try to pretend to be an expert on this. I did my research and this is what I came up with. The transformer that Max is referring to, might be what I attached as image 1 . Looks like there are about 7 of them. These are readily available at places like this. The panel is an LG Phillips TFT LM240WU2 the datasheet for the panel is available here and it does have the pinout for the inverter listed. And it looks like the board is available right here.
